What to know first
- 5MinutesLoan is a matching service operated by Adon Media Group LLC, not a lender.
- A partner accepting a request is not the same as approving a loan.
- Compensation can affect routing; a connection is not a promise of the lowest rate.
Who does what?
A direct lender decides whether to extend credit and specifies any offered terms. A matching service sends information to participating lenders or lending partners. A lending partner may itself operate a network, so the first recipient may not be the eventual lender.
5MinutesLoan does not make loans, set loan rates or decide approval. We may receive compensation when a request is sent to or accepted by a partner. This service should not be understood as a comparison of every lender or a guarantee of the cheapest available loan.
How a connection differs from a recommendation
A network may process requests according to participating buyers’ criteria, availability and commercial arrangements. A response telling you to continue with a partner does not establish that multiple personalized offers were compared for suitability or price.
Treat the next page as another decision point. Check the business identity and product, read the disclosures and determine whether more information or a credit authorization is requested. You can compare that option with a bank, credit union or another lender independently.

Read the sharing and communication terms
Loan requests can contain sensitive identity, income and financial information. Before sending them, read the privacy notice and immediate consent text to understand recipients, purposes and potential communications. Do not assume every recipient is a lender simply because the original page discussed a loan.
Check whether the disclosures mention other financial products or marketing partners. If someone contacts you, verify who they are and how they received the request. Use the site’s published privacy and opt-out contacts for questions, and contact the actual sender as well when you want its communications to stop.

What to look for in a real lender offer
A useful offer identifies the lender and states the amount, APR, fees, payment schedule and conditions. A message saying a request was accepted without those terms is not enough to establish the loan cost or a completed approval.
Read any lender agreement before signing and keep a copy. Approval, accepting an agreement and receiving funds are separate events. If no lender makes an offer, that outcome does not mean you must purchase another product or pay someone to release a promised loan.

A checklist for any loan website
Clear answers are more useful than an impressive badge, a short form or a claim of a large network. Ask before supplying information if the role or process is unclear.
- Which company operates the page, and is it actually the lender?
- Who can receive the request and what products can they market?
- How does the website earn money, and can payment influence routing?
- What can happen to my credit when information is sent?
- Which response proves an offer, and which only means further review?

Common questions
Is a matching service always a loan broker?
A label alone does not determine a legal classification. Activities and applicable law matter. Our service description explains what we do without claiming a universal licensing exemption.
Does getting matched mean I found the best rate?
No. A connection depends on participating partners and their processes. Compare any actual written offer with other available options.
Can I decline an offer after being connected?
You do not have to accept a loan merely because a partner receives your request. Read any agreement and its conditions before signing.
