Editorial policy:How to evaluate the information on this site
5MinutesLoan is responsible for the educational material it publishes. The website is owned by Adon Media Group LLC. This page explains the limits of our guides, the way we identify evidence and how to request a correction.

Our publishing approach
- Official sources are linked so you can check important statements.
- A publication or edit date is different from the date a law or dataset covers.
- We are a commercial matching website, not an independent comparison of every lender.
- General education does not replace a lender’s terms or advice about your circumstances.
1. Who is responsible for a guide
An attribution to the 5MinutesLoan editorial team identifies the website's publishing responsibility. It does not claim that an unnamed author is a lawyer, certified financial adviser or independently accredited loan expert. Where a named reviewer and credential are not shown, do not assume that professional review took place.
Our guides explain consumer borrowing decisions. They are not individualized financial, legal or tax advice, and they do not determine whether you qualify for a loan.
2. Sources and the limits of the evidence
Rules and consumer rights
For legal and regulatory statements, prefer the linked statute, regulator or official consumer guidance. State rules can depend on the lender's authority, loan type, amount, repayment period and effective date.
Research comparisons
A research report is identified as a report, with its scenario and source date. Its results are not presented as a verified current offer or an independently checked statute for every lender.
Examples and calculators
Illustrations explain a calculation or decision. Assumptions, fees and limitations matter. They do not establish that a lender in our network offers the illustrated product.
Business claims
Our service descriptions must be distinguished from general education. A law guide, calculator result or article cannot establish a partner's licensing, approval criteria, rates or actual availability.
3. What the dates mean
A page's publication or update date describes the page, not a guarantee that every underlying source changed on that date. State comparisons identify the dates and terms of the research they use. A change enacted today may not take effect until a later date.
Always check the source notes when relying on an APR-cap figure or state-law summary. If a source is historical, its age is disclosed rather than silently presented as a current legal determination. A general review label does not certify every possible loan transaction.
4. Our commercial relationship
Partners may pay us for loan requests. Compensation can affect who receives a request and the order of routing. Our service does not independently compare every lender or promise a best match, lowest rate or guaranteed approval.
A link to a government source is not government endorsement of this website or its partners. A useful educational article is not evidence that the products reached through a request are suitable for every reader. Read our disclosures and rates and fees information before using the matching service.
5. Report an error or request a source
Email support@5minutesloan.com with the page URL, the statement you believe is wrong and a relevant source or effective date if available. Do not include personal loan documents, Social Security numbers or bank details.
Questions about an actual loan's price, repayment, servicing or approval should go to the lender named in the offer or agreement. For questions about our website or a privacy choice, see Contact.
