Please read this information before you submit a request. It explains what our service is, what it is not, and what to look for in any loan offer.

The short version
- 5MinutesLoan is a free matching service, not a lender.
- Lenders set their own rates and terms, and may check your credit.
- Lenders may not be available in every state.
- Submitting a request does not guarantee an offer.
Our role
1. We are not a lender
What we are not
5minutesloan.com is operated by Adon Media Group LLC. We do not make loans or credit decisions, and we are not an agent or representative of any lender. We do not endorse any particular lender or loan product.
What happens to your request
When you submit a request, we share it with participating lenders or lending networks. A network may send it to its own lenders or other networks. We may not know the final lender at the time you submit. A partner accepting your request or sending you to another website is not a loan offer, approval or promise of funding.
Compensation
2. How we are paid
Our service is free to you. Lenders and marketing partners pay us for the requests we deliver. This may influence which partners see your request and in what order. We do not compare all available loans or promise the best match, lowest rate or lowest total cost. The lender determines the price of any loan it offers.
Loan costs
3. Rates, fees and terms
Set by each lender
Loan amounts, annual percentage rates (APR), fees and repayment terms are set by each lender. They vary by lender and depend on factors such as your state of residence, credit history, income and the amount you request. We do not currently publish a verified minimum or maximum APR, repayment term or fee schedule for the whole network. See Rates and Fees for what this means before you share information.
Understanding the APR
The APR is the yearly cost of a loan including interest and certain fees. A lender that makes you an offer is required to show you the APR, finance charge, amount financed, total of payments and payment schedule before you sign. Read them carefully and only accept an offer you understand and can afford.
Your credit
4. Credit checks and verification
Partners receiving your request may verify your identity and check your credit with consumer reporting agencies, including major bureaus and alternative providers. A soft inquiry generally does not affect a credit score; a hard inquiry can. We cannot promise that submitting this request will result only in soft inquiries or have no effect on your credit. Read the authorization shown in the form and ask the receiving partner about its checks before proceeding.
Late payments
5. If a payment is late or missed
Each lender has its own policies for late or missed payments. Depending on the lender and your state, missing a payment may lead to:
Fees
late fees or returned-payment fees charged by the lender or your bank;
Credit reporting
negative reporting to credit bureaus, which can lower your credit score;
Collections
collection activity by the lender or a collection agency, carried out within applicable law.
Some lenders may offer extensions or payment plans. If you think you may miss a payment, contact your lender right away. Review each lender's policies on renewals and collections before you accept a loan.
Short-term loans
6. Short-term loan notice
Short-term loans are designed for short-term financial needs and are not a long-term solution. Repeatedly renewing or refinancing a short-term loan can significantly increase what you pay. If you have ongoing financial difficulty, consider talking to a nonprofit credit counselor.
Where you live
7. State availability
Not all lenders operate in every state, and the products, amounts and terms available to you may be limited by the laws of your state. Some lenders do not lend to residents of certain states. If no lender in our network serves your area, we may not be able to match you.
No guarantee
8. No guarantee
Submitting a request does not guarantee that you will be matched with a lender, receive an offer or be approved for a loan, or that any offer will be for the amount you requested or on terms you find acceptable. Funding times depend on the lender and your bank.
Privacy
9. Your information
How we collect, use and share your information is explained in our Privacy Policy. California residents should also read our California Privacy Notice. Our Marketing Opt-Out page explains how to request that marketing stop. Opening an email link does not send a request until you send the email.
